seems to have a decent serve to trouble the challengers but you need more than that as you climb the rankings

if my calcuations are correct, is that not marcus in the top 350? was there not someone one here who predited that at the start of the year as well as a big rise for ashley hewitt?

Yes, Marcus will be around 345 now, almost surely top 350.

Re the earlier mentioned "race" to be GB no 5, that's now Marcus level on year-to-date points with Ed Corrie, equal 5th on 117 points.

Not really been part of this debate, but I do know that Marcus has worked very hard off the court and amongst other things improved his diet. I think his progress is very good evidence that 3rd party funding works very well, gives just that added bit of motivation for the player to really work hard.

Even thought about it myself, providing a bit of help and in return maybe picking up a % of players prize money. Food for thought anyway.

Brilliant Marcus, not just the king of banter !!

Needs around 145 points to crack top 300. He will be on 118 points after all Kuwait points are added on so he would need to make another 27ish points to get there. Only defending 2 points for the rest of the year, but effectively only 1 point as he now has over 18 countable result (the 19th being a 1 point result)

Very possible with 3 GB 10K's + what ever else he chooses to do to finish off the year
