Sorry I meant if defeats his lower ranked Argie opponent in the QF which is likely as Burts popped him last week 6-3 6-0 & reaches semi will leapfrog to GB no8
I'm probably jumping the gun here but a repeat of last weeks final is a distinct possibility. Let's just hope that the result is different this time around.
QF final tomorrow morning bomb shd be Too strong for a play 700
Places lower in the rankings who prefers clay .
Burts has much tougher 1/4 final facing no1 seed Wang of France will be tough but is in another SF in the doubles and good chance of winning another doubles title
Expect bomb to return with 2 futures titles from Kuwait but might both be doubles - we won't be complaining it's been a great series for the "dynamic Duo " but another singles title would be job done 2013 with another 7 tournaments to go !
Good question depends wether brings back a singles title
A singles title . I think with a good chance this week of making the final a further 7 planned its likely .
Hi lad - never really known much about Marcus before but have to admit I'm much more clued up now you're a regular poster. Got to say I'm hugely impressed with his ability, do you think he's got a shot at top 10? I don't see much outstanding talent coming through from other countries to really scare Marcus. Would certainly be good if he was in the main draw by right when Wimbledon is upon us.
They always quote that stat about if you haven't won a Slam by 25 then history is against you ever doing it, so time is of the essence (although I appreciate players are getting older these days).
QF: (6) Lewis Burton WR 694 lost to (1) Tak Khunn Wang (FRA) WR 333 (= CH) by 6-0 3-0 ret. QF: (2) Marcus Willis WR 414 beat (8) Matías Castro (ARG) WR 1129 (CH 975 in 2009) by 1 & 0
SF: (2) Marcus Willis WR 414 v (4) Tristan-Samuel Weissborn (AUT) WR 595 (CH 503 in Jul)
H2H 1-0, 1 & 3, last week's QFs

I am going to max sure everything is done to max Marcus full potential
Can he win a grand slam yes in doubles - I believe he is GB's most talented doubles player but it's for next 3 years it's all about going as far as we can in the singles if we can get into the top 200 singles then top 100 is possible But will take min 2-3 years Because we are rebuilding .
