GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
"Public wifi was down all day at the arena yesterday. So here's my delayed take on what happened yesterday.
Hev v Jani. Hev was a little slow out of the blocks, been a bit flat to start her matches all week. Jani held on for a quite a while until she cracked at start of 2nd. Hev grew stronger as match wore on.
Jo played perfect tennis until the 2nd set TB, but then got a little nervous. Picked up a groin injury in 3rd.
Doubles could have gone either way. Both Tara and Joss played well, Tara in particular loving every second out there.
Jo doubtful for today"
Here's Judy's interview after yesterday - she looks absolutely shattered http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIyS0xwdDRs&list=PL6P9iGS4Ir9lYXX4F8HUnlJ9n0oLfTqlY and tells much the same story of the day as Phil.
Good to hear that Tara got into it so much - that wasn't obvious from the stream, no doubt because of the lack of sound and because the camera was so far from the court!
