If this were to happen it would be much more interesting to have a table of the individual doubles rankings of the top ten brits rather than the top ten british pairs. I'm far more interested in how Dom Inglot and Jonny Marry are doing than some all brit pair ranked in the 100s.
I don't really see the need for such a table. Most doubles players are either so as they are not good enough at singles or to top up income. The majority on here don't really bother with more than a fleeting glance at doubles.
Actually, I am one who really enjoys following doubles, and would welcome such a table. Not so much for the rankings but for match locations and times. HOWEVER, I totally appreciate the massive work that would be involved and assume there are only a handful of us that are particularly interested, so have never mentioned it before. (Nor would I have the time and ability to cover it myself).
I think it goes without saying that some people here are keen on doubles, some take a passing interest but consider singles (far) more important and some ignore it altogether. That's probably true of tennis fans in general too.
If I had time to do a doubles table (which I definitely don't), I'd do it by player not by team (you can't really do it by team when even those in the most solid partnerships sometimes need to play with different partners due to injuries or because it's the only way to get into the biggest tournaments), limit it to the top 10 , change the Next Opponent column to Next Opponent(s), obviously, and add a "Partner" (i.e. partner this week) column just before it..
However, needing the extra Partner column and widening the Next Opponents column to fit two names would make an already ridiculously wide table even wider, so I'd be looking to cut some of the other columns too. Not sure which ones though - either the Other Links section or the points calculation & projected ranking section - the latter is an obvious target since it covers lots of columns, but I get the feeling people find that useful and it's not something that is easily available elsewhere.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
I am a bit of an inbetweener in that I do take some interest in British players doubles exploits ( more from challenger up ), but to nothing like the extent of singles.
I'd personally certainly look at a top GB doubles table if it was there, but I can also live happily without it.
I agree with these that say such a table would best be in order of GB individual doubles rankings. I appreciate that part of the reason for Gary suggesting listing in order of the all GB partnerships is he likes and would like to see more such partnerships. But, although it does seem that some players do look in here from time to time, the suggestion that the existence of such a table on here ( even if practical and of interest ) would encourage more such partnerships seems extremely fanciful to me.
