Kharchenko took the 2nd set but Amy has just served for the match ... and been broken. That was the 17th break in 29 games, so she is now 'receiving for the match' ...
7-5 3-6 5-3*

Yes! She breaks for the match - a career best ranking scalp and first 10K singles QF for Amy
L16: SARGEANT, Amy (GBR) Q UNR beat KHARCHENKO, Anastasia (UKR) 4 516 (CH 428 in 2012) by 7-5 3-6 6-3
QF: SARGEANT, Amy (GBR) Q UNR v OYEN, Sofie (BEL) Q UNR (CH 403 in 2010)
By the looks of Oyen's ITF record and the fact that she is unranked now having been close to the top 400 when she was 18, the Belgian has been at college as well - she upset the 5th seed 1 & 4 today.

One thing that's very weird - no tweets (or RTs) from Sarah Borwell about this yet, though perhaps she's not around. Isn't Amy one of her early successes? Or at least someone she often cites as an example of someone who has done well over there.
