Unlike korriban I didn't see the whole match. But from the fair bit I did see, I thought he played not too bad, although has clearly played quite a lot better. I do certainly agree that he was no "revelation".
While maybe not expecting to play, Dom was in the team on merit. He certainly didn't disgrace himself, and depending on future strategies ( i.e. whether to pick two doubles specialists ) I certainly wouldn't discount him from being in at least the team in the near future, indeed possibly as soon as any QF away to Italy on clay. Ross may become a factor, but more likely later.
Thanks goodness for that, won the first set despite playing badly for him. I kinda want him to lose just so that Wardy will be playing a live rubber, but also would hate him to lose.
