It's allowed, John. Better info there twice than not at all !

Just noticed you'd already posted the qualifying spots RJA, not sure how I missed that

I do things like that all the time. Glad I'm not the only one.

Alex won the first set 6-3 and is a break up, 4*-3, in the second.

The scoreboard's been stuck on MP for Alex for the last 10 mins which I take to mean that he's won it and that the umpire has forgot to press the final point button. . . . but could be wrong . . .

Confirmation that Alex won 6-3 6-3 - very comfortable win against a decent player.

Hoping for a good draw, and a bit of a rest first . . .

If he gets one of the wildcards, going through qualifying instead of taking the main draw spot will have worked out very nicely indeed

For first round of a challenger that is about as good as it gets.

Alex will have to serve well though - rumour has it that the Return of the Jdi can be quite fearsome.

(coat? thanks. I'll be off them wink)

Alex has been great this year....although he must feel pretty shattered after the amount of matches he's played. Keep it going Alex, just two three months left :)

It is funny to think that he only took out his February 2012 career high today - without looking at how he got to the previous high, I wouldn't mind betting that he has had to play a lot better to get to a similar point this time, which hopefully means a much more soundly-based ranking and more career highs next year, even if he slips back a bit towards the end of this year when his Far East points come off.

And Alex loses the first set 7-5.

Which just shows, it's a funny ol' game. Beat top 100 players one week, lose sets (and quite deservedly) against guys around 1500 the next.

Just got home to see this scoreline. I was relying on Alex to destroy the J(e)di on behalf of myself and my Sith Lord & Master. Frankly, if this nonsense continues, I'll need to get personally involved.

Come on Alex! If your game is off today, use the Force if need be!
