Going to be exciting following Kyle's progress over the next few years. Could we have another genuine top 50 player on our hands. We'd be a major major Davis Cup force if he could reach that level.....

Well, just catching up on the results after a long day's travelling. What a pity Kyle couldn't quite finish this one off, but as others have said, another excellent performance against a quality opponent.

Small consolation - but at least his mum and dad will get to spend a bit more time with him.

Bedene recovered from a break down in the 3rd again today - though Mesaros made it rather easier for him than Kyle did by double-faulting when the Slovenian had break back point and then double faulting on match point as well!
