15-year-old Tretyak will be ranked for the first time next Monday,with 9 points, all from tournaments here - 2 QFs and a R2. Today she won a very tight 3-setter against the player who upset Fran last week but she also lost 3 & 1 to Dasha in July, so make of those results what you will ...

Fran is now playing Souza and won't manage to emulate Anna's double bagel against her last week, but she is 4-1* up. She has faced 4 bps but saved them all and has taken 1/1.
