Alexander Ward Tennis
Arrived in Seville yesterday expecting to play qualys but i ended up sneaking in main draw last night!.So 1st round will be Mon or Tues against Brizzi. Had a couple of good practices today and will do the same tomorrow to be ready for my match. Loving the weather out here!
Ah, that would explain some things. Always wondered why he's off playing these Futures events in foreign countries all the time yet never pops up in home events.
Hope he eventually gets a ranking point or two. I guess Nikki must have some rich parents to continue with his "pro" tennis career despite not actually being very good. Fair play to him though, living the dream. I'd do the same :)

No idea about the rich parents.
His website says that he also coaches and specialises in stringing 'personalised' rackets i.e. for people who want non-standard stringing.
It's quite easy in Spain and the south of France to earn a living of sorts coaching and playing tennis - it's all year round, no weather problems, it's a normal, democratic sport i.e. the majority of people play so you've got a big customer base, he may well get paid for playing in the team in league tennis (he's at a pretty swanky club - don;t know their league status but the first team won't be in the fourth division!), if you're a club coach (as well as private) you only teach during term time so you can play tournaments in the other 4-5 months of the year.
(And absolutely no comment on Nikki but private coaching is often very much a 'cash' business).
I wouldn't assume that he's got rich parents or is even 'living the dream' - probably just doing his day job coaching tennis and fitting in matches as and when he can . . .
