Poor Dave looks like he's getting a bit beaten up by the jazzy Tunisian - 4-0* . . . . and finally, with a fair bit of difficulty, holds serve. So 4*-1 and now he's on the board . . .
Unfortunately he got broken back. He then got to 15-30 as Jaziri served to stay in the set but the Tunisian held on. I do hope he at least gets a set to show for this but clearly it's not going to be easy.

Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
The win against Garanganga was fantastic news and hopefully it means that Josh has turned a corner. Wouldn't expect much from today's match but hopefully something to build on for next week.
L32: (Q) Dave Rice WR 380 lost to Malek Jaziri (TUN) WR 190 (CH 69 in 2012) by 6-2 7-6(3)
L32: (Q) Josh Milton WR 451 lost to (5/WC) Peter Gojowczyk (GER) WR 146 (=CH) by 4 & 1
At least they had a go instead of sticking with Futures ... and got 5 points each for qualifying.
