NB practically all the Q spots in the MD are way better than the two draws that Sam and Naomi got so worth qualifying !

She saves 2 match points but not the 3rd

FQR: WEBLEY-SMITH, Emily (GBR) 3 461 lost to SAIDOVA, Shakhlo (RUS) 825 by 7-6(3) 1-6 6-4 bleh

... despite winning 7 points more than her opponent, 2 games more than her opponent and taking 5/10 bps to Saidova's 4/16

Today's new rankings mean both Brits are taking on top 150 players, though Sam isn't too far off the top 150 herself after her 22-place rise today:

R1: MURRAY, Samantha (GBR) 167 v FORETZ Gacon, Stephanie (FRA) 8 149 (CH 62 in 2003)
R1: BROADY, Naomi (GBR) 279 v MESTACH, An-Sophie (BEL) 6 147 (CH 157 in Jul)

Emily had at least 1 bp to go *5-4 up (in total, she has had 4 bps, Saidova 7 and they have both converted just 1) but is now serving *5-6 0-30 down.
