Not sure why, but Joko seems to have been missed off the list of entries for this week. She has made the last slot of the main draw for the WTA 125 at Ningbo which is quite a strong tournament for the fairly rare 125.
Seems a bit surprising that Kyle has withdrawn from next week, given the declared aim of his team for him to go all the way last week ( although he still did well ) and generally pick up as many points as possible, aiming for Aussie Open qualies.
However, someone did mention that Kyle had said he was heading home and clearly I don't know the full thinking.

He is a young lad who has played a lot of tennis this year and put in a lot of work off the court. I would guess that he wants a bit of time off so that he is both physically and mentally ready for the last 2 months of the season. A well thought out schedule will normally result in more points being won than desperately chasing every available point and over playing.
Absolutely fair comment re Kyle, RJA, and I have said before that I have been impressed with Kyle's scheduling.
I was just a bit surprised with the overall aims that, given he was entered this week and went out relatively early last week, he had withdrawn. No biggee.
Mandy Carreras was first alt. in Seville, and the Q draw has just come with the third alt as top seed (and the second alt. as WCM) so Mandy must have made the main draw.
No Brits in qualifying in either Orleans or Sibiu.
Given that the qualifying seeds are ranked 369-588 in Romania and the number of spare places in the draw in France, that seems like a missed opportunity Obviously, Fergana is considerably weaker even than Sibiu, but that really is a long way to go for qualies.

It does seem a real shame. I wonder if Dave and Sean withdrew from Orleans because their doubles results had been so disappointing the last few weeks. Maybe Sean couldn't justify/afford the trip ? Maybe they thought they really needed some time off just to practice ?
