QR2: (q3) David Rice WR 380 beat Matthieu Roy (FRA) WR 768 (CH 728 last month) by 2-6 6-1 6-4

FQR: (q3) David Rice WR 380 v Filip Veger (CRO) WR 650 (CH 644 last month)

Funnily enough, these two met in the FQR the last time they played in Challenger qualifying, in Segovia in July, Dave winning 2 & 2.

In fact, Dave lost all of the first three games of the match. He has since won 6 in a row to take the 1st set 6-3

The second qualifying seed just lost so Dave would only be second in line for a LL spot if he doesn't turn this round.
