maybe when RJA said that Oli had a problem with slow starts, he meant a problem with REALLY slow starts, i.e. he needs a good three-set game to get warmed up.
Oli now two breaks up in his second match 4*-1

Not so sure about that. By the standards of this board, that's probably one of the better ones.

I was tempted to 'of'er him honorary membership of the forum for that one LOL

I spotted that one as well, but missed the chance to ask him "ho iss" his next opponent.

Just back from a power cut to find Oli a set (6-1) and 3-2* up on serve, while Kyle is now 5-2* up in the first.

Come on guys.

Well done to the British boys (and their Belgian coach - four wins in four matches, not bad Julien!)

Good to see some solid wins from the boys, and to see you're all on form with the puns today.

Impressed with what I'm seeing of Kyle yet again. Confident and controlled aggression, good movement and defensive skills...

Kyle 6-0

Oli may have lost the first set on a TB, but his level is pretty good.

Not the explosiveness of Kyle, a much more measured approach, but then Oli's opponent is much better than the fall guy who Kyle played earlier.....still nothing exceptional, but more challenging for sure.

There's nothing in this, so curious if Oli can figure out a solution, keep calm and take set 2. He should be beating players like this by now, given a reasonable progression from last year. Should be interesting......

5-4* second set. Oli had 0-40 at 4-3*. My stream broke at that point, so I didn't see the points or the reaction, although Oli's latest hold looked like calm personified.

And he had 0-30 at 5-4*, but again his opponent held firm and played very well. Good match actually.....

Oli: "Didnt bring the level that i have been bringing the last few weeks which is annoying but still created enough chances to win. #LLihope"

"Had to stop the match briefly today when i cat ran on the court and couldnt be caught! #firstforeverything #weird #notblacktho"
