I would have thought these two uses of the phase "Edmund walked over" with no other evidence suggest that it was he that wss given the walkover, i.e. walked over into the next round.
OK, it could in theory mean he was walked over, but don't think you'rd ssy it like that, more he gave a walkover or he withdrew.

The phrase certainly suggests Kyle has gone through, but it also suggests whoever wrote it isn't that good at English, so I think we're as much in the dark as ever.
The tournament twitter came to life again for a moment but still no reply to Bob, me or to someone else who asked.

Hope its just a 24 hour bug or something, rather than something more serious like an injury.
... yes, hopefully that or Leon seeing Wardy's result today and getting on the phone to Kyle to tell him to drop everything and leg it over to Umag! (that's clutching at straws though, obviously that wouldn't happen)
The complete silence doesn't bode well though.

I do think it's very strange that there was radio silence from the tournament, from all social networks, and from livescore websites for over 3 hours after the match was due on court.
Kyle wasn't playing yesterday, so if he'd hurt himself in practice or got sick yesterday/overnight, the tournament would have known ahead of play starting, and usually they would revise the OOP and the drawsheet up front. We would have heard something about it online, possibly from one of the boys. Perhaps he did something to himself in the pre-match warm-up.
Bah, yes let's just hope nothing serious for Kyle, and in the immediate future clearly could effect any role as at least back-up in Croatia.
On that note, worrying performances from James before Croatia.
As for Oli, that was a very tough task. His season does seem to have generally improved with time,if not exactly hitting any heights. BUT geez this not irregular wailing about his progress and selective comparisons with some of his contemporaries. The guy is still only 19 ( 20 at the end of this month ) and enough has rightly been said about different rates of progression, especially at that age. I like my stats in general, but if I see many more re how Oli is comparing with X or Y, I think I will scream. To me, he remains a very good prospect, who is taking time to mature. Let's show a modicum of patience !
