Carla was just 'trop forte' in that set (!), thanks mainly to a very good start - 6-4.

But get the impression that the match is more even now . . .

 4-6 3-6 to Ms Forte. Just the 7 breaks of serve from 16 BPs for the Brasilian.

I've no idea but I've seen a lot of people saying Mel should move over to full-time doubles. Well, she's in the final here (Anna and Joss were winning easily and it all suddenly went pear-shaped at the last minute):
