A question for Steven (or others): Steven's noted the last time three Britons made the 3rd of singles at the USO ... but does anyone by any chance know when the last time was that four made the 3rd round in men's doubles?
Edit- Oops. Silly me - answers own question. Last year! I'd forgotten Mr Skupski was playing with Mr Delgado.

None of the 3 British "pairs" know their third round opponents yet but they all will by the end of the day. Barring an upset Colin and Jonny will likely play (6) Bopanna and ERV, Dom and Treat are likely to play (3) Granollers and Lopez while Jamie and John should play (7) Benneteau and Zimonjic. Lets hope for a few upsets today.
Not sure how much of a relief this is going to be to Jamie & John, given that their R3 opponents have just dumped out the seventh seeds, Benneteau & Zimonjic, in straight sets (4 & 2), but
R3: Brian Baker & Rajeev Ram (USA/USA) CR 513 vs Jamie Murray & John Peers (AUS) CR 103
With Baker's returns and Ram's serve and net play I can see why they would be a decent team, but surely the tactic would be to pick on Baker at the net. Wonder how much he comes in behind his serve, a good first serve percentage must be imperative for him.
Colin and Jonny play second on court 4, not before 12:30 local time (17:30 BST) and following Harriet Dart's girl's singles match.
Jamie and John play third on court 17 (televised / streamed) following another men's doubles and a men's singles. Could partially clash with Andy's match but hopefully not.
Good work by Murray/Peers to create the first break point of the match, but Baker saves it with a gutsy backhand winner down the line. Murray misses an easy volley next point after a good lob *3-4.
Murray/Peers save a match point at 4-5 30-40 when Jamie comes across and puts a volley away off the return and then Peers digs out a great volley at deuce and they hold. After being in so much trouble in his last service game, Baker then holds easily to 15.
Murray/Peers 5-7 *5-6

J&J should have broke, they had two break points but a cautious volley from John cost them the first and a telegraphed cross, also from John, cost them the second.
*3-3 in the third
Both times it was Jamie.
Yes, you are right of course. In my defence I am not entirely sober and they are wearing identical kit. Still even momentarily confusing a left hander and a right hander is pretty bad
