128 Cox (5) - in SF in Wrexham 124 Edmund (6) - not playing 124 Klein (4) - not playing 120 Corrie (7) - out in QR2 in Como 118 Ward A (8) - not playing
Challengers next week could change this order as well if any of them play.
In-running GB 21-30 - updated
Key: in-running points - name - (where they were in the GB list on Monday) - this week?
43 Marsalek (21) - out R1 in Pozoblanco 38 Fitzpatrick (23) - not playing 34 Burton (25) - in SF in Wrexham 32 Broady (27) - in SF in Wrexham 28 Bloomfield (26) - out QF in Wrexham -------------------------------------------------------- 27 Ward-Hibbert (28) - out QF in Wrexham 24 Slabinsky (22) - not playing 24 Carpenter (29) - out R2 in Wrexham 21 Burn (24) - not playing 21 Short (30) - not playing
So Liam definitely back on the top 25 table, Bloomers sneaking back in too (last week, this week and next week will be the only times he has been outside the GB top 25 since long before I started the tables) and JWH will have to wait a bit longer - probably only until 23 Sep, when Bloomers has Nottingham runner-up points coming off.

Liam, serving for a place in what would be his first Futures singles final at 3-6 6-4 *5-4, had a(t least one) match point but is now break point down.

Such a shame for Liam. Just as with the JWH / Dan C match the other day, I am not upset by Marcus winning, but I really thought this could be a breakthrough week for Liam. And he was sooo close. Surely for him too, it must be only a matter of time.

Well played to both players.
Hard to judge Liam's week really. Making a SF is nice but Butler, Orton and Thronton-Brown was not exactly the most testing route to a SF.

Agreed. But getting MP and then to a 3rd set tiebreak against Marcus suggests he was playing well.

Well, Liam beat him last week in the Sutton final (for a cheque of GBP 1500 which is not shabby) so maybe this week was Marcus' turn.
But agree that he must be playing pretty well (even if the previous rounds weren't especially tough). Seems to me, as you say, that Liam and JWH have both had a very good summer - consistent tournaments, solid wins where it was expected, a couple of very good results, here and there, some tight matches that they lost against players ranked far higher.
Worth remembering maybe that:
At the end of April, JWH was ranked 1028 in the world.
At the end of May, Liam was WR 931.
That's pretty good progress, I reckon, for 19 year-olds

And, I think they were probably 1 good service game each away from meeting in the Final. Liam today, and JWH against Dan C. Had he won that one, I would have fancied him to beat Lewis today.
But it is also good to see continuing good performances from still quite young members of the 1990 born group in Dan C and Marcus ( pack leader Dan E ! )
Marcus already "in running" heading to a further CH in the 430s. He talked earlier in the year of having worked harder than ever before and expecting good progression.
Dan C also "in running" probably inside the top 320 and, with nothing more to defend this year, looks like heading back into the top 300, towards his CH of WR 258.
Would be great if Dan C and in more time Marcus could move onto challengers. Alex Ward ( another of the 1990 group and close to his CH ) has shown results can be achieved.
