Even when Tom was on his excellent run of form earlier in the year, he often had to battle back from tough situations and recover many breaks. If I recall, some of the forum members who have seen him play live suggested that Tom's serve, whilst not a complete liability, could not be regarded as an asset or strength. Enough to hold him back from making the next big rankings breakthrough, perhaps, so certainly worth focussing on over the coming months......I'm sure he's already on the case.
In the JC X 2 match, JC the Junior (only 15) takes the first set off JC the senior 6-3
Nick Jones serves for the match at 5-4 but gets pegged back by the Bulgarian 5-5
And Liam saves several SP at 6-5 before, finally and in the longest two-set match EVER (practically, and allowing for exaggeration), winning the second set TB 7-4
James Ireland was down to play Robert Carter today but, according to ITF livescores and the ITF site (although not the LTA site) Carter has wtihdrawn and Keelan Oakley is the LL
