I just occurred to me that one year ago today I was watching watching Evo beat Jack Carpenter in the second round of a 10K futures at Chiswick. How times change.

I like the fact that Dan plays quickly, but I wish he would slow himself down a bit when he is making a lot of errors.

Yep - his serve is not quite spot on, and he served SO well the other day, that he must be frustrated - he certainly looks a bit rattled . . .

Maybe Dan will settle down when this set is over. I hope.

Yes. Tomic has been playing well - changing up the pace very well, none of the horrid UE he sometimes litters around the place . . .

I have the joy of a livestream with no commentary.

Oh my word how I'm enjoying the lack of commentary on Sky.

IMO a few commentators (Wilander, Courier, McEnroe) are neutral, or even add a bit. They occasionally point out things I hadn't noticed. ALL the rest actually detract, with their non-stop inane burbling. And if the likes of Wade or Lloyd are on, I just can't watch.

Come on Murdoch, save yourself some money and sack the lot of them.

Oh dear, oh dear. Dan needs to take a deep breath and try not to give so many points away.

shame Dan couldn't find a way to take one of the bps in the previous game. Now down a break.
