Very close so far. Nothing between them. Some excellent serves from Laura but Caro is playing aggressively too. Enjoying it . . .

Serving very well and nice forehands, but her movement side to side (after neither player has attempted any variety to go short) and anticipation hasn't improved at all.......so painfully slow to the ball (or not to the ball), but so far enough to hold serve easily.

Ah, Korri - you're a hard man !

Thought Laura played some clever 90% tennis in that game, forcing the French girl (often a bit volatile) into making the errors.

6-4 Laura

I'm not really! Very good last game - but when Caroline gets time on the ball (and to be fair she's not getting a lot due to Laura's depth and power) she's not really moving Laura around much - when she does it's over very quickly.

Oh Oh MTO for Laura

What was the MTO focused on?

It was on her wrist but I think it might just have been having it re-strapped (although I thought I heard the physio say something about ice, but I might have mis-heard)

She took a couple of pills also, so presumably has some pain with it

Well if this is how she serves with a sore/painful wrist then perhaps she needs to injure it more smile

3-3 second set. I must say how well BOTH girls are serving today. Brilliant.

Yes, but I think it's her right wrist that she's injured ! (and she's left-handed)

Actually, I was wondering if she was being more aggressive/diligent with her serve precisely because she knew her groundshots (or her BH to be precise) would be slightly impeded and so she knew she had to nail her serve.

Certianly great serving . . .
