Updating the Best 18 lists, I've just realised that at the end of the US Open, Dan will have gained more than half of his ranking points total since the start of Vancouver on 29 July! (155/298 as things stand at the moment)

This is very dodgy extrapolation, I know, but it gives an idea of how well he has done recently - if he kept scoring at the same 6-week rate over 36 weeks / 18 tournaments, he'd have enough points to be top 50.
