I'm not sure I quite understand Jess's polite grumblings (re eating and timing etc). If you're second match up on an Oop that starts at 4.30 or second match up on an Oop that starts at 12, what's the difference ?
I would have thought Egypt was far better in many ways because at least your match time is pretty much guaranteed.
Most players say that the absolute worst is hanging around with rain breaks, moving courts etc. etc. (like Kyle yesterday) and not knowing at all when you'll play. Now that is tricky to monitor in terms of eating . . .
I think Jess should get out and about a bit more . . .
True. I've often wondered how players cope with stuff like that when they have a night match one day and a day match the next, for example, but at least here you know every round will be in the evening and very unlikely to be rained off.
