Just got in. So busy had forgotten that Kyle was playing today.
The result suggests he played better today than yesterday, which is hardly surprising but very good news all the same.
I saw Samper Montana play earlier in the year in Cartagena and he looked a very solid player but nothing spectacular. I remember prediciting that he wouldn't stand chance against "Busta" in a final in Alicante - if memory serves (no time to check). I was right and Busta won - but only 7-6 in the 3rd and Samper Montana had MPs in that match so it will be no push over for Kyle.
If Kyle can get past Samper, he'll face the Dutchman, Antal van der Duim (WR 575), who's dumped out the fourth & seventh seeds in the second round & the QF respectively...
