Just dragged myself out of bed and nervously turned on Livescores for Italy and couldn't have picked a better moment.

Kyle was 6-3 5-2 40-30 and it took him all of 5 seconds to finish it off.

Proud of you Kedders. Told you that you could win this.

Biggest points haul of his career so far with 27 and up to around the 350 mark.

What a great way to start the day !!

Great result for Kyle. Now for a good couple of weeks in Poland.

Wow didn't expect that score line, my prediction was the reverse ie an Oli win and a Kyle loss.

Clearly starting to get a little bit too good for these futures our Kedders! biggrin

Clearly all down to the motivational tweet ahead of the final ;)

Impressive from Kyle, after the 1st round, I doubt few would have predicted such an impressive end to this tournament, getting better match by match. Augurs well for the coming weeks and a further move up the rankings.

So I go out to see a man about a new (to me) car at the end of the first set & come back, having agreed to buy it, to find that Kyle's a - & in straight sets! biggrin  Well done, lad.

Get in Kyle , must be so confident right now, think top 300 is a good goal for the next few weeks, ambitious , but very achievable!

This guy is the next big deal in British Tennis looking better now. We have Andy. Ward and Evans in top 200 . Edmunds has the ability to join the latter two has the talent and the desire. Whose Next to make the leap? Farquharson, Hewitt Rice or Cox?

Yes. Possible but a tough ask.  By my horrendous maths, Kyle has 36 points to come off between now and the end of the year - most of them (30) in November.  If you add the 27 he has won this week and deduct the 36, that leaves him with 82 points (basically his YTD).

Looking at the current rankings list, he would need about another 60 points to reach the top 300 this year. So definitely not impossible. Much may depend on his schedule post DC where I am absolutely sure he will be in the squad - especially after today's performance.

Of those 4 I don't think Tom or Dave or likely to make the top 200 while Dan might but only just. Ash has the raw potential but we will need time to see if he can develop his game.

Wow. Naso is a good player too. I look forward to watching Kyle get through the ranks.
