Extremely impressed by that scoreline. Not sure if it was an amazing performance by M/F or a complete dud by the others but either way, the final awaits. GSM 6-3 6-0.

Generally believe if andy plays a blinder these 'double specialists' find it very hard to cope, doesn't suprise me a score like like this

Only concern this tweet:

Murray calls MTO to have lower back worked on by trainer. He & Fleming up 4-0 in dbls SFs.

Well exactly. Does anyone believe that the top doubles players are really better than the top singles guys would be if they played doubles week in week out. If you do please get in touch because I have some magic beans that I would like to sell to you.

Anyway, good win for the lads and hopefully they take what would be Colin's biggest title.

One bit of bad news. No Brits made it into the Cincinnati doubles.

Good to see Fleming into a Masters Final ... albeit without his 'regular' partners of Hutchins or Marray.
But A.Murray will do nicely thank you.
Go on lads, win the thing!!!

Dare I say andy may have chosen the wrong partner at the Olympics...

Given that Andy playing with Colin at the Olympics would have probably resulted in both his brother and one his best friends never speaking to him again I think he made the right choice.

Final starts at 17:30 BST which is timed an almost perfect 90 minutes before Dan is due on court in Aptos. Very agreeable scheduling.

That sucks. Guess I'll just have to check around the start of Evans' match because I can't stand the constant score-watching.

I wonder what happened in that match - hopefully it was just Andy & Colin combining to shattering effect and they can do the same in the Final to give Colin the biggest title of his career ... and Andy the biggest doubles titles of his career

4th, 5th & 6th seeds down, 3rd seeds to go.

Colin must be in or on the edge of the top 20 now (whether he cares or not *ahem*  ) and as someone said to me on Twitter, if they win the title, Colin and Andy will go ahead of Colin and Jonny in the Race. Also, assuming Colin & Paul Hanley don't drop out of the top 100 on Monday, Colin will appear in the top 100 of the Race FIVE times - the tart! wink ... and even if he loses the Final, his race points would easily make him top 8 if he'd got them all with the same player.
