I see a couple of pesky foreigners trying to nab our points are in the field this week, not happy about that.
We don't need another Robert or Freddie to start Brit Bash winning streaks.
Agreed - i thought Ed had started to turn the corner with his qualifying exploits in the last couple of challengers, but that's a disappointing result. I still think he can make top 300, but not much more for now.
At least JWH has got some points on the board for a change. I wouldn't be suprised if he got past Gabb in the next round(assuming Gabb wins)
Today's result doesn't change my mind. Josh has great potential (top 100 by the time he's 23 or 24, IMHO) and a very BIG game so he's always going to have a few great matches and a few horrors when nothing's quite firing. He may just have nailed today's match.
Ed's game is so solid and physical and business-like - I'm sure he can be top 250 - but it's going to be a slower climb.
I was surprised to see JWH had won given how reliable Ed usually is, but I imagine it was an 'on fire' day for Josh and an off-day for Ed - even at this stage, JWH is more than good enough to pull off a scoreline like that under those circumstances, I think.
Needless to say, Slabba is a career best ranking scalp for Sam.

NB my money's on both the British lads to beat the 2 frenchmen this morning (it's fallen out the right way - Josh's opponent is a lot stronger than Mark's but Josh is supposedly better than Mark anyway so all good) - so come on lads - it's a big call, especially for mark, but they're winnable!
