Great win again from Dan, those occasional lapses only make it more entertaining and when Evo is on form and his head's right, he is easily good enough to be in the business end of these tournaments. Next up is Bradley Klahn - a stern test no doubt, but a much more likeable-looking final then Pospisil was. COME ON DAN!
It seems like winning is becoming a habit and a very good one at that.
Would absolutely love to see him pull of the win tomorrow. His performances over the last two weeks have merited a tournament win, so let's hope he gets his just rewards.
Do we know yet what time the final will be played tomorrow ?
Asides from that patch between 5-4, 40-0 and 7-6, 0-2 where his serve went completely AWOL (possibly asides from the TB - I missed that as my computer had a heart attack and had to reboot) a very good performance against a pretty frustrating player. Did very well to raise his game in that first set tie-break having squandered six set points and brilliant in those last seven games.
Two challenger finals (and $100k ones at that!) in a row. He's going places is Dan.
Does have 27 points dropping off next week and a further 36 in September though. But up to 160s in the Race (where James is still marginally ahead). I hope he can keep this form up over the coming months.
A short interview with Dan - nothing really interesting, but he said that next week he'll fly to Bolletieri's in Florida for a week's training before US Open qualies,
I wish Dan wouldn't start each response with "No yeah..."
