Reading through the last couple of pages and I see several comments about double faults and then more about him serving into Wang's hitting zone. So would we prefer him to aim for the lines and risk missing or play it safe and offer an easier return.

His serve is all over the place in general. The commentator just repeated what Dan said in his coaches direction then "You don't even know where your serve is going"

Wang hits some monster winners and some UEs  and holds to 30.  3-2 for Dan.

The commentator has mentioned "Dan's coach and entourage" who are in the crowd.  Who is with him?

Lots of people throw their racquets. It wasn't a complete paddy. And Wang is playing well - some good thinking tennis and excellent FHs. But Dan is keeping it together and keeping the pressure on.

Got back and started watching at the end of the 2nd set, glad to see Dan grinding this out, even if Wang is struggling.
Just got to keep holding serve and its another QF for Dan.

I don't think the racquet throwing is a big deal, what's a bigger deal is Dan being 2 points from the match :)

Not exactly, but it's not necessarily racquet abuse and against the rules either.

A better set from both players - Wang tried a few different tactics and it wasn't easy for Dan but he hung in there well, sort of managed to keep focused and was the better player by the end.

Good to see Evo chalking up another win, this is turning into a very nice little stretch for him, hard to imagine what seems like months ago in that 1st round loss at Lexi. Next up will be a stern test though in the shape of Pella (who Dan thrashed at Queens) or Brian Baker.

Dan making a habit of coming from a set down to win.
