well, I guess that some of the irish may well (and quite rightly) have a problem with actually being an honorary Brit. But there's no harm in being neighbourly !!!!!  smile

(nb the lta site does seem geographically challenged at times . .. )

Now that would be cheating although importing an Aussie has helped of course wink

Having said that 25 would be fantastic but let's just get to 20 first !!

Dan is third match on centre, play starts at 10:00 local.  We should be able to watch from around 8:30 this evening.  Bet365 has Dan at evens.

L16: Dan Evans WR 194 beat (8) Jimmy Wang (TPE) WR 139 (CH 85 in 2006) by 2-6 6-4 6-3 biggrin

QF: Dan Evans WR 194 v (1) Guido Pella ARG WR 96 (CH 75 in Jun) or Brian Baker USA WR 185 (CH 52 last Oct)

The 2nd quarter has opened up completely but taking out Pella or Baker will be a big ask.

1-1 all, the Wang return looks mean against Dan's 2nd serve!

Pospisil is in a v, tight match v. Berdych....

0-30  for Dan....

Dan had 2BPs, saved by Wang with a huge serve and a big FH.

1-2  Dan to serve

Not a great return game from Dan, his slice finds the net twice.4-1.

Pospisil has just beaten Berdych in Montreal!
