The Murray match-meter explained:

After each Andy match you decide what score to give him based on the scale given below. Feel free to add your own comments to your score.

Scale:

Poor performance [2/10]:


Disappointing but expected [4/10]


Not at best but still good win [6/10]


Fine performance, Murray on song [8/10]


A stunning, absolutely amazing performance - top class [10/10]

Murray v Ljubicic. Even though Andy lost I'll give him 7/10 for a great performance against one of the best players in the world. At times in the 1st set Andy's tennis was just sublime - shot-making of the highest quality.

Murray v Fish: I'll give Andy 8/10, best performance of the year, Fish was coming back from injury but he was also returning from injury when he beat Andy last July. This win really shows how Andy's game has since moved up several levels. To thrash an olympic silver medallist in that style was hugely impressive.

What scores would you give Andy for the Mazarakis match ?

I'd give him 8/10, clinical victory against a tricky opponent, Andy's returning must have been top-notch.
