Was tempted to do a detour on the way home from London tomorrow, but the forecast is really bad and the qualifying is still happening for both the men and women and it's not particularly strong.
Manisha has an easy draw and will qualify

Don't know much about Alannah Griffin, but having seen the Boccard girls, she could win that match.

I think Georgia Craven should get through her quarter

Sophie should comfortably beat Hollie for an interesting tie against Lauren

Mia will beat Farah,, but won't get past Tiffany

Surprised that Tiffany, Manisha and Sophie didn't get main draw wild cards.

I would expect to see around 20/21 GB girls at least, eventually in the MD at this event.

After Jazzamay's efforts getting past Manisha, it seems cruel to get the 2cd seed!!! An interesting tie for me will be the one pitting Pippa Horn against Daneika Borthwick!

There will be at least one Brit Q/Finalist as there is an all British section of the draw. oddly enough including the latter two players mentioned smile.

Hear, hear. That's the joy of tennis - everyone thought that Manisha was a a sure thing and yet, 9-7 in a third set TB, Jazzamay squeaks it. Great stuff.

Well done to Alannah too, only 16 years old. And Sarah Beth, 17. Maia must have put up a stern resistance too to get that close with Tiffany. Sophie seemed to walk it . . .

Looking forward to the draw . . .
