 That's pretty awful scheduling for Laura - finishing a long match at 5:30 and then being sent out first match at 11am the next daybleh At least the match won't be that physically demanding with lots of short points. 

the only positive is at least this match won't go into the early hours so I can catch up on sleep from last night.

Laura managed to pretend this was a grand slam and showed some great fighting spirit!

2 hours 8 mins played already in the Californian afternoon heat. Hopefully the recent British heatwave has left Laura well prepared for it.
