My Prediction : Daniel Evans will be ranked inside 120 by end of year.

Jones just knocked out Zverev, Wardy's potential 2nd round opponent

Any idea when James will be on court?

I'd be totally unsuprised if there was an element of Lord mayor's show is Dino's performance as Bob suggested there might be.  A big win is always going to be psychologically draining and a first round match with hardly any spectators a couple of days later will feel like a let down.  He pulled through though, which is great.

A brief look at the stats suggests that James would have been unfortunate to lose. He had 13 BPs to McGhee's 7 and  won 111 of 208 points.

James will want to be playing on Friday so that he gets another SE for Aptos.  Having to go thru qualies just 8 days after winning a tournament would be rough!  James should fancy his chances against Greg Jones, Greg was pretty much the last direct entry.

Dan Evans is on centre court against Weintraub at 10.00am local, so we should be able to watch the stream at 5.00pm our time.

Although of course you won't be watching James, you'll be watching Peliwo and Dancevic!

Which is already annoying as it said Ward had held, now it says he's been broken

Fear for Wardy today - After the Lord Mayor's show and all that.

Really hope I am wrong

Just worried that coming off the high of winning in Lexington last week, it may be tough to refocus.

The early loss of serve proves vital, Ward down. 4-6

Nothing to forgive.

But Wardy just losing the first set makes me fear it even more.

Vamos Wardy. Plenty of time for a come back.
