Anyway, it's Bobby next up for Dan. Bobby will give 100% physical and mental commitment but there won't be any surprises, it'll be a good workmanlike performance - Dan will have plenty of chances.

Very enjoyable performance. Dan has everything to go to the top. He can play from the baseline, serve and volley, has a big serve and great variation.

I thought his court coverage was excellent against Rochus.

If there is one area to improve it must be the return of serve, which is OK, but could be much more potent.

Certainly agree about his movement, possibly the best I have ever seen from him.

As for return of serve, he is normally pretty good but is perhaps a bit conservative with it. Like Andy Murray he hates not getting serves back into play but against good players he will probably need to be a bit more adventurous.
