Not sure whether to laugh or cry at this result:

R1:  Dominic Inglot & Treat Huey (PHI) CR 63 defeated Colin Fleming & Jonny Marray CR 61 by 6-4 6-7(4) [10-7]

Pleased for Dom, of course, but desperately sorry for Colin & Jonny. hmm  Didn't see the match, so am unable to judge whether, in fact, the better pair won.

Dom, and Treat, are defending champs and so really need a good week here to avoid a big rankings drop while Colin and Jonny are defending nothing so it is probably a good result.

All the seeds crashed out in the first round, but I guess Dom's & TCH's opponents in the quarter-final are the next worst thing:

At last some good news (1/3 hmm ) from the doubles matches played today:

QF:  Dominic Inglot & Treat Huey (PHI) CR 63 defeated André Begemann & Rohan Bopanna CR 47 by 6-4 7-6(1) smile

I don't think the win was quite as straightforward as it may seem from the score for the defending champs, but at least they got there in the end...
