* RJA didn't get the result of the Harris v ATB final qualifying match wrong above - or at least, it was wrong but it wasn't RJA's fault! It looks like it was one of those matches where a mistake is made on match point so the match looks like it is over on ITF livescores but it actually carries on and they can't undo the mistake during the match if it ended a set.

Some cracking ties - JWH v Daniell stands out as does Tom F v Marcus
Pauffley v Carpenter could be interesting as could Coupland v Glasspool, Dan v Lewis an Josh v Bloomers
Fitzy couldn't have wished for a better draw on his return.
L32: Luke Bambridge WR 857 won 6-0 6-1 (WC) Chris Simpson UNR (would like to see Luke have a good week) L32: (1) Dan Smethurst WR 410 won 6-4 6-3 (WC) Robert Carter WR 1161 (the first set was very tough going, the second a little easier)
Josh serving for the second set, showing a bit of a turn around as predicted but still not on song with his serve.
Toby 4-2 in the second - nearly there . . .
Neil a couple of points from winning . ..
added: as per plan Neil wins and Josh takes the second set. BUT Toby gets broken which is not what the doctor ordered . . .

Tom f 1/2 on to beat Willis on bet365, not sure about that
Tom should be the favourite he is way fitter than Marcus in my opinion so should win in either straight sets or in a long 3 setter whereas I think Marcus only chance is straight sets.
I thought they looked dodgy odds too but they made a bit more sense the way Jaggy put it, but it's the last option he (and I) expected that seems to be playing itself out - Tom was a set up but Marcus won the 2nd set tiebreak 7-5 and is now *4-0 up in the 3rd!
Btw Tom won 13 points in a row early in the match, which looked pretty impressive, but Marcus managed to top that by winning 17 points in a row from the end of the tiebreak through love hold/break/hold at the start of the 3rd.

Toby's won the first set 6-2 - hope he can see it though. Could be a nice result.
Josh was always the underdog, IMHO, (against a very in form Marcus) but 0 aces and 6 DF is not helping his cause. He has the game to turn it around though.

Hence 1/2 maybe going on style of play fitness and their current game. Maybe still slightly generous odds though granted.
