That's true, but it's not unknown for people not living in the country where the name originated to use non-standard diminutives and, as well as the reference in that article, I've seen someone who knows her refer to her on Twitter as Dasha. (I guess it's even possible that Daria is her middle name and she prefers to use that, but that's a wild guess and probably not correct)

L16: Danielle Konotoptseva WR 753 v (SE) Linda Prenkovic (GER) WR 1198
Prenkovic reached the Final as a qualifier last week, beating Dasha 4 & 2 in the QFs on the way, and she upset the 2nd seed (whom Dasha herself upset last week) today.

I have always tended to think that bare BP convertion stats don't necessarily give that full or even true picture re break chances.
1 successful BP convertion out of 9 could possibly be :
a) had a BP in 9 separate return games ( i.e. in this case that would be in 9/10 games ) which would be indicative of so many chances missed and very frustrating.
but also...
b) only had BPs in one return game ( 9 BPs in all in a hugely long game ) and eventually broke in that game with not a sniff of a BP in any other game.
Haven't seen the overall stats here and other stats such as total points for and against may indeed indicate that it was all very close.
