Another excellent win to prove that last week was no fluke. Great chance in QF.

3 multi point weeks on the bounce for danielle in egypt
well done her

encouraging stuff - medium term goal maybe aiming at perhaps getting up with or past Em web smith in gb rankings or about that # of points (80) by this time next year at least.
seems doable, see how the form stays though as thought that about Anna S when she came back in sweden earlier in the year but anna seems to have lost her mojo a bit - and had some nasty draws.

interesting to see where and when DK plays through the rest of the year

She is on the list for at least another 2 weeks in Sharm El Sheikh. Tournaments continue weekly in S. E. S until the middle of December.

thanks for that

makes sense to stay there at least a bit then, as she seems to like it and the evening matches and is getting the results

when she does move, that will be interesting

I remember people saying of Jimmy white that he only played well in evening sessions - perhaps danielle is a bit of a tennis equivalent

hope not as most matches in opening rounds tend to have to be in morning or early afternoon!!!

anyway nothing to suggest this upswing in for has any limiting factor

 Make that 3 weeks smile.

That's quite a turnaround from just two weeks ago, when she lost to Payet by almost the same score (3 & 1), suggesting that she really is playing better as her confidence grows biggrin

Her draws are really opening up too, though Dasha and Prenkovic did actually put out the two seeds in this quarter (rather than knocking out someone who was coming down from beating a seed)

Just noticed as I added the result to the T25 table - Dasha has now picked up as many points since 1 January as Mel South and Anna Smith (26 in each case) - some points may be easier to get than others, as ever, but I doubt anyone would have predicted that at the start of the year!
