The tournament feed picks the wrong no. 1 seeds:

Naomi gets the score wrong: (she can be forgiven, obviously!)

"Singles:5-7 7-5 6-4. Doubles:6-2 2-6 17-15. Not sure I've spent enough time on court today. Day off tomorrow #sleeptime"

... and impressive from her partner:

"Shout out to my partner for picking up the netcord, match point down and lobbing them to stay in the match @oliviarogowska #speedygonzalez"

Not sure on GMT times so hopefully someone can translate them for me! Currently at work so just posting it up quickly.

- Sam up on court 2 at 12 pm local time.

- Sam/Jade to resume their doubles match at NB 4pm (after rest following Sam's singles) on court 1

- Jo on same court at 6 pm local time.

 Winnipeg is 6 hours behind BST, so Sam plays as 6pm and JoKo at midnight

Come on Jade, if you want decent points for your efforts, you have to back up these upset R1 wins!

 Steven - you have to remember that Jade is at a career high and is not used to playing challengers on a regular basis and the higher standard of tennis involved. The ability is obviously there as she is winning matches. It may be she needs to work on the level of consistency and concentration when playing these higher level matches.

BP against Sam in the opening game but the scoreboard appears to have frozen at 30-40. Looks like a rain delay. Keeping an eye on the tournament Twitter feed so I'll update once they say that play is getting back underway

Back underway. Sam saves the BP but another long delay. Surely not another rain break?!

 'fraid so. ITF livescores is no longer "live". 7 points played!! Apparently not.....perhaps the electrics got wet.....still live.
