They have moved one match indoors (think it's Sam's) the rest have been postponed until tomorrow!

Difficult to know - could be Sam's singles match or it could be Sam & Jade's unfinished doubles match from yesterday. A bit naughty of them to say one match had been moved indoors and not tell us which one!

I always think it's a bit silly when no attempt is made to schedule matches such that players due to meet in the following round are likely to finish at a similar time and I thought it was particularly stupid when they scheduled one R2 match from each quarter for Wednesday. They must have been aware of the likely weather for Thursday when they did this too, which makes it even more inexcusable.

The result is that each of Friday afternoon's QFs (assuming the rain holds off for long enough for them to be played) will pit one player who has already had to play their R2 on Friday morning against a player who played their R2 match on Wednesday.

You'd think taking the most obvious steps to limit the possibility of this happening (in this case, scheduling one half of the draw for Wednesday and the other for Thursday) would be the first rule of scheduling, wouldn't you?

Sam first up on court 2 at 10 am local time and JoKo first up on court 3 at same time.

NB 2 pm local time and after suitable rest, Naomi plays Sam or Sawayanagi on court 2. If JoKo wins, she plays Imanishi NB 2 pm local time on court 3

Jade/Sam doubles is NB 6 pm local time on court 1 and Naomi/Olivia is scheduled for around the same time (but after rest as Olivia is still in singles action earlier).

I should be around for all of the singles and happy to do scores if anyone wants them?

Tough on Jo for sure, because she really is the clear favourite to win this tournament.

Jo's match appears to have started but the scoreboard isn't going anywhere. Doubt it's a rain delay as the court 1 match is going on (Rogowska 5-0). Sam's match not on my scoreboard at all.
