Wow very impressive score in the final, great stuff Dan. I definitely thought Olivetti would take the title this week - glad its a Brit instead though.

Olivetti is a strange one. He has a massive serve and when he gets it right he is almost impossible to break, at this level anyway, however when his serve is off he doesn't have much else.

Yeah I watched him playing the Italian challenger last week out of curiosity and his game is massively based around the serve. But that said he still seemed impressive when he fought to upset Cipolla. Great scalp for Dan either way!

This is the 2nd time Dan has won this event - the other time was in 2010, which may explain why he has managed to nab wild cards here the last couple of years (though why he doesn't just enter in the first place, I'm not sure)

It's also his 8th Futures singles title. Unusually for a Brit, he has infinitely more Futures singles titles than doubles titles

Not too bad. As many titles as Murray this summer.

Provided Coxy remains injury free, he should get into the top 300 in no time given that he "only" needs about five more 10K titles/15K finals.
