Very good result.

His tweet yesterday said he had played well in the first set but had trouble keeping concentration in the second (which he won all the same).

Maybe a similar scenario today (maybe Christian played better too) - at least lloyd recognises it.

His first top 1000 scalp ???

Lloyd just tweeted

win 6-3 2-6 6-4. Good first set ad totally lost concentration. Lucky to get through. Need to mentally get better if I'm goin to progress

I think he has another year of college to go but he is playing a few tournaments over the summer.

Thanks for that - enjoyed it. He's certainly a good athlete, which is nice to see. Wish him luck against Jerome.

thanks for the reply RJA and the link too Steven.

I really like Lloyd's game. Will be interesting to see how he progresses. Still going well here, maintaining the break. Listening to Bolleterri speaking, who is a big believer in college tennis before turning pro, it definitely seems like a good option to me, but is obviously more suited to the good players rather than the great ones.
