RE: Week 29 - ITF ($10K) - Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt Hard

This one is slipping away rather fast - 6 games in a row for Bruzzone now, the last break and hold were both to love

F: KONOTOPTSEVA, Danielle (GBR) 7 939 lost to BRUZZONE, Giulia (ITA) 1131 by 4 & 1

The Italian won 10 of the last 11 games - still, Dasha got 2 rounds further than she ever has before

good week. missed opportunity, but her progression curve is definite on the upward slope
consolidate and make weeks like this regular convert the odd one or two
promising times ahead, could go maybe a couple of hundred places higher

Excellent week - should start get seedings when the rankings points kick in and then should get through the first round more regularly.

I agree.

Net, net, the other girl clearly deserved to win. And given that Dasha is only 18 1/2 and has never been beyond a Quarter Final before, it's not surprising that the final probably all went past in a bit of a blur.

Good luck to her in the upcoming tournaments.

Good week for Dani. Shame she couldn't win the whole thing but hope it gives her a boots to keep on climbing now

A sad end to a very good week with some excellent results from our girls. Tara, Sam and Dasha all reached their respective singles finals and then fell at the last hurdle. Very well done girls, but perhaps one step further next time?
