I suspect nerves have hit Danni as she really struggled to serve out the first set.

Bruzzone has had a dream draw - 4 qualifiers en route to the final! You'd take that!

Danni's only gone and won the tie break to win the match.

If the situation doesn't get to her, she should win the tournament.

So 3 GB girls make finals this week against 1 set of men. Are the tables being turned?

Thanks for that Peter. Interesting reading. So pleased for her this week - it might not be the highest ranking 10k ever but she's really stepped up and taken advantage. (NB I love the "Dasha" name - reminds me of those reindeer . . .)

I think Danielle has channelled her aggression into this tournament after seeing 'Princess Laura' headlines during Wimbledon. We all know there is only one true princess of British tennis!
