In the doubles Emily & Julia Coin the No1 seeds have just lost the 1st set to the Japanese No3 seed 6-2.............and I am starting to worry a little bit that they are not quite focusing enough...

Yes the doubles SF failed to finish last night.............and that leaves both Emily and Julie with slight problems........as they will now have to finish the SF today then Julie has her singles SF v Sam ......Emily is due to sign in today at Lexington for qualifying........and they would be playing late for the doubles final if they win...........

 

In fact having just checked the OoP for today the singles SF will be played first........then not b/f 15:30 local time doubles SF to finish..............then doubles final not b/f 16:00 local time..........there is no way Emily will make her sign in deadline unless she is allowed to do it by proxy or phone?

seems it didnt get done last night
probably would ended up being a spanner in Coins plans and schedule and not knowing what was happening whether they was going to finish and probably finishing later than expected waiting on the wether
all that has got to help Sams chance a little for the single SF

Julie Coin seems to be in a rush for some reason

 

that first set just shot by.

 

 

 

 

 Mind you Sam serving 6 DF's to Coin's 0 didn't help the scoreline............

Sam has been a break down, a break up, broken back and then broken again and is now serving for the match at *5-3!

0-30 though - seems as much chance of her breaking for the match as serving it out the way it has been going.

Well they have not made the qualifying draw in Lexington yet.....as an irrelevant aside their website in Lexington can be confusing as they abbreviate the University of Kentucky to UK and thus they have a whole host of players from the UKconfuse
