 Agreed - Sam has a great chance to make the semis.

Jade probably needs to consolidate at 25k now before trying to push on again. She has made huge jumps this year in the rankings.

I am wondering what Emily will do?..................she still has her doubles SF to play and possibly a final.......yet she is due to sign in at Lexington, USA on Saturday?

 I believe this has happened to David and Sean a few times and they miss out on qualifying singles and end up just playing doubles.

Normally they try and push the doubles finals forward as early as possible to try and avoid this issue.

I just couldn't rest my mind thinking Naomi should change her coach. A new coach might give her some kind of help??

Live scores has taken a holiday at *4-1 15-15 to Emily & Julie in the 2cd set.............

I think she's on something like a 6 month plan at Mouratoglou and part way in to it. Her form has been getting slowly better from a pretty wretched spell Autumn & Winter last year, when she didn't look like she wanted to anything to do with tennis anymore.

Hopefully the recent slight improvements - and good results in doubles - are indicators that her training/coaching program is finally having some effect, and there is more to come as things click together for her more.

Having seen her a fair bit though over the last year, the book does seem to be out on her - all her opponents break her down exactly the same way: hit to the backhand, hit to the backhand, hit to the backhand, hit to the backhand...
