That sounds nasty. It's an inner ear virus I believe and you are right, it could anywhere from a week to several months to recover.

I hope it clears quickly and you sort out your financial and housing issue soon.

i have labrythitus or how ever it is spelt, completely bed ridden can not get up, move or do absolutely anything. it is the worst illness i have ever had and better news there is no cure but to sit and wait.
any time i move im sick and feel like im going to fall over and ive had 25 pints. Not good
Safe to say im not a good person to be around at the moment, after a month of aggressive sinus infection it turns into this labyrinthitus.

no money in and only money going out when im close to being homeless. like london buses, always come at once.

Could be weeks could be months with this as there is nothing that i can take to help. pathetic in this day and age.

wow i had that last year and was rushed into hospital. it was truly horrendous. the only thing i was given was "buccastem" for the sickness. it took me a week to get out of bed and 2/3 weeks to be able to get back to work. the scary thing was they had no idea at first what it was and with my silky smooth manc accent :) i was basically accused of a drugs overdose by about 10-15 different doctors.

best wishes fitzy! the only good news i can offer at this moment is that if you are up typing on the internet you are through the worst. get well soon!

Couldn't you get some sort of benefits from the government? Incapacity benefit or something?

So sorry to hear about your illness. I do hope you've got people around to take care of you and do what needs to be done.
Rest up, follow the docs advice, don't try and do too much too soon. All the best . . .

Neil was 5-1 down.

He's now just broken serve twice (and held easily once).

Serving to take it to 5-5.

What's the odds he gets broken now ?

Edit : no idea what the odds were but it he didn't! 5-5

Wow. I wasn't expecting that. And I am talking more about Neil here than Liam but fanstastic to have them both win. Had a suspicion that Liam might win as Benneteau has looked vulnerable. But Double Breadstick - as I said - Wow.

Just need Bloomers to make it a full house - not looking to good so far though, but at least he has just broken serve to avoid the bagel. *1-5 in the first set.

Really bad news, sorry to hear it. I know a few people who have suffered from Labrynthitis and its horrible, but the diagnosis of it lasting months has been a ''worse case scenario'' in the couple of cases I've known (both lasted a few weeks) so try to stay optimistic. I believe travel sickness tablets help settle things down a bit, worth a try surely?

Difficult to know what to suggest regarding finances. Your twitter mentions part-time modelling, is there no way you can look into that for some extra cash wile you recover? Failing that I would really recommend ringing the local council/jobcentre, explain your situation and see what sort of help is available, even if only a short term fix?

I have had it before, when I was 12 and it lasted 3 months although I was out from tennis for a bit longer than that. Obviously it must be different being a kid to an adult though. Apparently as you say its possible to recover quicker than that, just as it goes I was a bit unlucky and it took a long time to regain my balance and it still has lasting effects now. I hope that you recover asap

Neil now up TWO breaks in the second set - one wasn't enough in the first set; will two be enough in the second ?

Marcus Willis won the TB quite easily. 2-2 in the second.

The enigma that is Neil P has now serving for the second set at 5-2

I cannot work the lad out - he's had a terrible run and seems to do better when the underdog.

Neil takes the second set 6-2. Seems fair, really. Let the third set sort out the men from the boys . . .

Willis a break up, having won the first.
