On the subject of Joe Salisbury, he's a break up vs Bloomfield in the 1st set. Forever rooting for the underdog, me. GO GO GO JOE!

I had this one down as an upset and would really look forward to a match up with JWH in round 2 - assuming they both get there.

For some reason, I also fancy Liam to put one over on Richard G today as well.

Perhaps a little bit of experience showing in the tiebreak as Bloomers takes the firs set 7-6(2)

Scott Duncan (Duncan Scott? Such a useful name . . .) has made it one set all against the swiss player.

George C takes the 1st set 7-6(5) from JWH in what looks like a serve dominated match. Zero BPs throughout the whole set.

Honest assessment from qualifier Imran Aswat, who beat (LL) Adam Thornton-Brown

"Just won 7-6(5) 7-5 in 1st round main draw Felixstowe 10k!!! Both of us played awful but fought really well"

I don't know if there was a stat anywhere but I noticed that it was the longest two-set match ever on this planet.

The other courts were practically through their second match by the time it finished.
